For the 2013 festival I will be producing illustrations for the world premiere of David Blake's "Ten Gallows Songs" from the poems of Chriatian Morgenstern.

British-born composer David Blake was the joint founder of the Department of Music at the University of York in 1964. He was a Lecturer in Music in the Department until 1976 when he became Professor. He has composed a wide range of music including opera, orchestral works and chamber music. His 5th String Quartet was commissioned in 2010 to celebrate the Swaledale Festival's 30th Anniversary.



Throughout the festival, I will be having a one woman show of paintings and prints at the Warlands Gallery, Leyburn (same building as Tourist Information).
